Tips for a smaller file
- Crop out empty space before you start. Fewer pixels means a smaller file.
- Screenshots and scans of documents shrink a lot. Detailed photos shrink less.

Why is the download a JPG?
JPG gives the smallest files for photos and is accepted almost everywhere. Transparent areas become white.
